End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: February 15, 2025

1. Acknowledgement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a binding agreement between you ("End-User") and CATALYST Design Sdn Bhd ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our") and not with Apple. Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Expie application ("Licensed Application") and its content. This EULA does not conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Description of Service

Expie is a mobile expense tracking application designed to help you log, categorize, and analyze your spending. The application utilizes Supabase for user authentication and data storage. Certain premium features may be made available via subscription ("Premium Subscription").

3. Scope of License

Developer grants you a non-transferable license to use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded Products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The Licensed Application may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

4. Eligibility and Account Creation

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Licensed Application. By creating an account and using the Licensed Application, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this EULA. Your account is created and authenticated through Supabase, and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored securely using Supabase's infrastructure
  • Premium users receive cloud backup capabilities
  • While we implement reasonable security measures, you are responsible for maintaining copies of your important data
  • We cannot guarantee data recovery in all circumstances

6. Subscriptions and Payments

The Licensed Application offers the following subscription options:

  • Free Trial: 7 days with limited premium features
  • Monthly Plan: $3.99/month
  • Yearly Plan: $39.99/year (16% savings)

Premium features include:

  • Unlimited entries
  • Cloud backup
  • Unlimited storage
  • CSV export

All payments and billing are handled through Apple's StoreKit. Premium Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple App Store account settings. Refunds are managed by Apple according to their policies.

7. Maintenance and Support

Developer is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Licensed Application as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services.

8. Warranty

To the extent not prohibited by applicable law, Developer is solely responsible for any product warranties. If the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund. Apple will have no other warranty obligation, and any other claims or liabilities are Developer's sole responsibility.

9. Product Claims

Developer is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Licensed Application or your use of it, including: product liability claims, regulatory compliance claims, and consumer protection or privacy legislation claims.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

Developer is solely responsible for any intellectual property infringement claims regarding the Licensed Application.

11. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription features
  • Reverse engineer the application
  • Upload malicious content

12. Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a U.S. embargoed country or "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited parties.

13. Third Party Terms

You must comply with applicable third party agreements when using the Licensed Application, including your wireless data service agreement.

14. Third Party Beneficiary

Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service for violations of this EULA or inappropriate behavior within the Licensed Application.
